Work With Me
If you’ve tried to think your way out of this and it hasn’t worked, that’s exactly where we start.
You may not have a clean way to explain it. Most people don’t.
You just know you’ve been in the same place longer than you want to be.
What We Focus On
Most of the work centers around patterns.
Not just what’s happening—but what keeps happening.
That usually looks like:
overthinking that doesn’t lead anywhere
relationship patterns that repeat
feeling stuck, even when you’re trying to change
You’ve probably already thought about it a lot.
Maybe talked it through. Tried to approach it differently.
But the same loop shows up again.
Not because you’re not trying—
because the pattern itself hasn’t been fully understood yet.
How I Work
This isn’t advice-based or surface-level.
We focus on:
what’s happening underneath your reactions
how your patterns developed
what keeps them in place now
We slow things down just enough to see the pattern clearly.
Once that happens, change becomes a lot more possible—and usually more straightforward than it seemed before.
What Sessions Are Like
Sessions are direct and grounded.
We’ll talk, but we also pay attention to what’s happening in real time:
how you think through things
where you get stuck
what you move toward or avoid
There’s no script you have to follow and nothing you need to prepare.
We work with what’s actually happening.
Who This Is For
This tends to be a good fit if:
You have been looking for men’s counseling that truly understand how you experience the world
you’ve tried to figure things out on your own and keep circling back
you want something more structured than just talking things through
you’re open to looking at patterns—not just problems

Next Step
If this feels like a fit, the next step is a consultation.
You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out.
We’ll start with where you are and make sense of it from there.
If you want to see how these patterns show up in real situations, you can explore them in the Pop Therapy blog.

Sessions are $125 for 50 minutes.
I’m a self-pay practice, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. This allows for more privacy and flexibility in how we work.
If you’d like to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill—a simple receipt with the information your insurance company may need to reimburse you for part of the cost.
We’ll go over any questions during the consultation so everything is clear upfront

Most people I work with already have insight.
The problem isn’t understanding—it’s that the same patterns keep repeating. That’s where I focus.
I use a framework called Temporal Narrative Therapy (TNT) to map what’s happening:
where it started, how it shows up now, and how to shift it in real time.I also draw from tools like the Change Triangle (developed by Hilary Jacobs Hendel) to understand what’s underneath those patterns.
So the difference isn’t advice.
It’s that we’re working with a clear map—so change actually sticks. -
You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
-
It’s conversational, focused, and grounded in what’s actually happening for you.
We’re not just talking in general terms—we’re tracking patterns as they show up and working with them in real time.
There’s space to be honest without judgment, but also a clear direction so you’re not just venting—you’re making real shifts.
